As a member of the Greater Bethesda Chamber of Commerce, Rebalance regularly hosts educational events as part of the Chamber’s member-to-member education series. Rebalance Managing Director Scott Puritz lives in Chevy Chase, MD. Scott is a member of the Save Our Retirement Coalition, and is a nationally recognized retirement expert who testified to the U.S. Senate on behalf of safer retirement investing. He is a member of the CFA Society of Washington DC and the Financial Planning Association of the National Capital Area.
Puritz also served as long-time chair of the Outward Bound Washington DC Advisory Board. In that role, he established a scholarship fund that over a decade helped more than 50 financially disadvantaged teenagers from the Washington, DC area participate in Outward Bound’s life-changing programs.
