Professor Burton G. Malkiel
Professor Burton G. Malkiel, Emeritus Professor of Economics at Princeton and Senior Economist, is a leading voice in investing and the author of 17 books, including the widely influential A Random Walk Down Wall Street, now in its 10th edition with over 1.5 million copies sold. His work has been instrumental in promoting low-cost, diversified index fund investing, principles central to the Rebalance platform. Over his career, he has published extensively in outlets like The Financial Times, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal, and served on major boards including The Vanguard Group, where he served for over 25 years, Prudential Insurance, the American Stock Exchange, and The Pew Charitable Trusts, as well as on President Gerald Ford’s Council of Economic Advisors. A Harvard and Princeton graduate, and former Chairman of Princeton’s Economics Department and Dean of the Yale School of Management, Malkiel has consistently championed accessible, efficient investing for all, an ethos that continues to define his work today.

Dr. Charles D. Ellis
Dr. Charles D. Ellis, founder of Greenwich Associates and a highly respected investment expert, advised major institutions across more than 130 global markets and taught at both Yale School of Management and Harvard Business School. He served on the Board of Directors of The Vanguard Group and held leadership roles at Yale University, including chairing its renowned investment committee alongside David Swensen, and has been recognized by the CFA Institute for lifetime contributions to the field. Jay Vivian, former Managing Director of IBM’s Retirement Funds, oversaw more than $100 billion in assets for over 300,000 employees worldwide and is widely recognized for optimizing retirement outcomes through disciplined cost management. His leadership helped IBM earn Plan Sponsor of the Year in 2006, and he has received numerous honors including Treasury & Risk’s “100 Most Influential People in Finance” and Plan Sponsor’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Known for his relentless focus on reducing fees, Vivian has emphasized that even the smallest cost differences can significantly impact long-term returns. He has also held key roles across the industry, including founding Chairman of a $2 trillion investment trade group and serving on boards such as AIMCo and United Way Worldwide. Kristi Craig
Kristi Craig, Chief Investment Officer at the National Geographic Society, oversees a $1.4 billion endowment and leads the development of a diversified investment portfolio aligned with the organization’s mission. Previously, she was Director of Private Investments for Georgetown University’s $2.6 billion endowment, managing portfolios across private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and energy, and held roles with the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Small Business Investor Alliance. A recognized industry thought leader and frequent panel contributor, Craig holds a BA in economics from Georgetown and is a CFA Charterholder.
